Description

Located outside of Grand Island NE- transportation referrals available if needed. I have pups in Canada to Bogota, Columbia and from California to Maine.

These are working dogs, bred for stamina, high energy/activity levels, for competitive homes- these are NOT pets/companions! I breed for field trials, upper level hunt tests, international level agility, scent work, etc…

Taking deposits on Males (for now) of $500 to hold.

Sire: Fenloch Revelry by Goldbeck “Kenny”
Kenny is out of imported parents- he takes after his mother in looks, size, build, and has the high desire to please, temperament is phenomenal- this dog is always happy and gets along with all dogs, kids, people, other animals. He is fast, agile, and loves to show that off by doing everything at top speed- I swear the dog never “walks”, he sprints. Loves retrieving and busting through the thick cover.
OFA- Prelim hips Good, will be getting finals in late May.
OFA-Prelim elbows Normal, will be getting finals in late May.
OFA Patellas- Normal
OFA CAER eyes- Normal
Genetically Clear for PRA-cd, PRA-4, FN, BSS, and AMS

Dam: Fenloch Chimera “Mera”
Mera is of predominantly imported pedigree through the use of imported semen from the UK and imported dogs. Mera is a fast, medium sized, racy build girl that has the thinner boned, leggy but proportional build that gets her through the thick of things, whether that is heavily wooded areas to tall grass prairie, and over cut corn field stubble. She loves water too.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.

🧠 Final Thought

Buying a gun dog is your responsibility. Do your homework on both the breed and the breeder. Make sure your decision is informed, confident, and in the best interest of the dog.
